Pro Stock Series announced for 2026 Season

Ricky Craven, owner of SPEEDWAY brought to you by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust, officially announced today the creation of a seven-race Pro Stock Series for the speedway’s inaugural 2026 season.
“For several weeks, I’ve shared with all of you that I have a ten-year vision for our SPEEDWAY,” said Craven. “From the very beginning, Pro Stocks at our new track was a priority. What we are announcing today helps legitimize us as a top track in New England in terms of our annual schedule and the type of racing that defines that schedule.”
The seven-race Pro Stock Series will feature one Pro Stock event each month, beginning with Opening Day on May 23, 2026, and will run under Granite State Pro Stock rules for all seven events. There will be a structured points system for each event leading to our SPEEDWAY’s first track champion. Also, the winner in each of the first six Pro Stock events will be rewarded with a guaranteed top ten starting position in our season ending marquee event, the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust 200.
Pro Stock Series Dates
Saturday, May 23, 2026 – Speedway 60th Anniversary 60 Laps
Saturday, June 20, 2026 – Granite State Pro Stock 100 Laps
Saturday, July 18, 2026 – Sponsor to Announced 75 Laps
Saturday, August 15, 2026 – Sponsor to Announced Twin 35 Lap races
Saturday, September 12, 2026 – Granite State Pro Stock Stan Meserve classic 128 Laps
Saturday, October 3, 2026 – Sponsor to Announced 50 Lap
Saturday, October 10, 2026 – Bar Harbor Bank & Trust 200
Our seventh event will represent the crown jewel of our season, the Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Pro Stock 200, scheduled for Friday, October 9 & Saturday, October 10, 2026, as part of the SPEEDWAY’s flagship Paul Bunyan Weekend. This race will be the largest paid event in the 60-year history of the track.
Craven also announced that the series will have a Title Sponsor, and associated point fund for the top 5 drivers which will be officially unveiled at the Mainly Motorsports Show in Augusta, ME in January. The Full season schedule will also be announced at that time.
