Speedway presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust Announces Partnership with Ideal Recycling as Official Recycling Partner
HERMON, ME – Speedway presented by Bar Harbor Bank & Trust has announced a new partnership with Ideal Recycling, naming the Carmel-based company the Speedway’s Official Recycling Partner for the next five years.
The partnership reflects Speedway’s continued focus on building strong relationships with Maine-based businesses that share a commitment to community, sustainability, and long-term growth.
“This is a great addition to our Speedway family,” said Ricky Craven, Owner of Speedway “Keith has built something special with Ideal Recycling in Carmel, and his passion for racing is evident both on and off the track. Over the past several months, I’ve had the opportunity to connect with many outstanding business owners across Maine, and none have been more encouraging or enjoyable to work with than Keith. His enthusiasm, leadership, and commitment to his team align perfectly with what we’re building here.”
Ideal Recycling owner Keith Drost emphasized the personal connection his team has with the Speedway.
“Speedway has been a special place for me and our employees for many years,” Drost said. “We’ve invested a lot of time and participation into this track, and we’ve never been more excited about competing here. As we continue to build a strong and growing business in Carmel, we see that same energy and momentum at the new Speedway in Hermon. Partnering with Speedway and Ricky Craven is something we’re genuinely excited about, both on the racing side and from a business standpoint. This is a win-win for everyone involved.”
Drost is also an active competitor at the Speedway and will be contending for this season’s Street Stock championship, further reinforcing the shared connection between Ideal Recycling and the racing community.
